During your stay at Stackpole, you might notice we do things a little differently compared to home!

Things like recycling as much of our waste as possible, trying to reduce electricity use and therefore pollution from power stations or picking up litter on the beach.

We are an Eco Centre, which means we have been approved in an inspection for certain sustainable and ethical standards. Find out more under the Eco Centre sub heading!

You may also take part in the John Muir Award during you stay, and be awarded your certificate you will have to help us at Stackpole to look after the environment. Again, find out more under the John Muir Award sub heading.

Hopefully, this won't be just for one week! If you already do lots of recycling at home then maybe we can show you new things to help the environment.

And if there is no recycling at home perhaps YOU can become the person who starts it!

Everyone can make a difference, and if we all do a little, then a lot gets done in total!
